Say It Out Loud

May 18, 2026

Tulalip Resort and Casino | Marysville, WA

For 25 years, the Say It Out Loud (SIOL) Conference has brought together behavioral health professionals, peer support specialists, community advocates, and individuals with lived experience to share knowledge, build connections, and strengthen services for 2SLGBTQIA+ people across Washington State.

SIOL is grounded in the belief that culturally responsive, affirming care improves outcomes — and that the voices of those most impacted must be centered in that work.

This is a space for learning, reflection, and practical tools you can take back to your workplace or community.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This conference is for you if you are:

  • A behavioral health or substance use professional seeking affirming, culturally responsive practices

  • A Certified Peer Support Specialist or peer professional whose lived experience is central to your work

  • A nonprofit, education, child welfare, or justice system professional serving 2SLGBTQIA+ communities

  • A community advocate, ally, or individual with lived experience who wants to strengthen systems of care

You do not need to be a clinician to belong here.

"Bringing Recovery to the Surface." We host events to promote recovery in our community. We advocate with state and county officials for pro-recovery policies, like expanding access to recovery housing. We organize people to break down the barriers and silos that prevent or delay services. All coalition members have their own lived experience with behavioral health disorders or provide services to those who do. We are the experts who do the work.

Your involvement is critical to our success in creating recovery for our community. Any additional donations will improve systems, enable more people to achieve and maintain meaningful recovery, and help us host pro-recovery events. Your participation in this event will unite our community and show that recovery is possible.
