The WRA is a community-driven advocacy nonprofit, led by individuals in recovery from substance use disorders and mental health conditions, families impacted by behavioral health conditions, and community organizations. We value lived experience in our entire team, from volunteers, to interns, to staff.
If you’re passionate about recovery advocacy and the power of lived experience, maybe the WRA is the place for you.
Internships are available on a rolling basis, and we can work with you to tailor an internship that fits your interests and our needs. We accept both undergraduate and (depending on our current projects) graduate level students. However, please note that we do not have any direct service or clinical opportunities available at our organization, and cannot support clinical internships or practicum placements.
Please email inquiries about internships, along with your resume and a cover letter, to our Executive Director.
