We regularly host events that bring people together for fun, education and to advocate for change. Our events range from in-person to virtual and even hybrid. So come as you are and in a format that works for you.  All are welcome.

Community Events

Race for Recovery

July 19

Morrison Riverfront Park, Aberdeen, WA

The event will feature a variety of activities to engage individuals and families, including educational booths, and possibly live entertainment. All ages and fitness levels are encouraged to participate in the Run/Walk, which will start at 10:00 am. The race is a symbolic demonstration of the strength and determination it takes to overcome addiction, with every step representing progress toward a healthier future. Event Highlights: • Run/Walk: Participants will run or walk a scenic route to raise awareness about recovery. • Resource & Vendor Fair: Learn about local resources for those in recovery and their families, with representatives from treatment centers, support groups, and recovery-oriented organizations. This event is an opportunity to celebrate those who are recovering and to spread a message of hope, strength, and resilience to the community.

HOPE IN BLOOM Resource Fair

July 25

Tacoma Main Library, Tacoma, WA

Join the Pierce County Recovery Coalition at our next resource fair on July 25!

We are excited to be partnering with the Tacoma Main Library to host this event and are bringing community partners from across the continuum of care. There will be tabling from various Tacoma and Pierce County community-serving organizations, free naloxone, overdose prevention and response training, snacks/food, lots of connection opportunities, and more!

We are honored to invite you to the 9th Annual Overdose Awareness Event of Mason County—a powerful day of remembrance, connection, and hope.

This year’s event will include a Community Resource Fair, offering support, education, and tools for healing and prevention. If your organization would like to host a booth, we welcome your involvement!

This event is FREE and open to everyone!

Recovery Day at the Park

September 6

Evergreen Park, Bremerton, WA

Come join us for a BBQ, games, and fellowship, while we celebrate recovery in our community! As part of the mission for the Salish Recovery Coalition, we support individuals and families in recovery through advocacy, education, and celebration. This event is one of the ways we are able to do just that. This event is open to the public and we encourage you to invite your friends and bring the whole family!

We will have local service providers join us, offering onsite resources and opportunities to connect with your local recovery community. Thanks to our sponsors for supporting this free annual event.


Prior to this free recovery event, there is an opportunity to join the Recovery 5k Fun Run & Walk at the Illahee Preserve in Bremerton from 9am-11am. Recovery Fun Run & 5k

September 6

Illahee Preserve, Bremerton, WA

Come join us on Saturday, September 6th, for our 3rd Annual Recovery 5k Fun Run & Walk at the Illahee Preserve in East Bremerton as a fundraiser for the Salish Recovery Coalition. This event helps support our mission to support families and individuals seeking recovery, by bringing advocacy, education, and celebration of recovery to our local community.


Early registration is $25, price increases after August 15th. Registered runners will receive custom swag and there will be a finisher award. This preserve has a beautiful forest setting and is a perfect location for this benefit. We have 75 spots for runners, so get registered and bring your friends to help us celebrate recovery and this amazing event!

Following the fun run, we will have Recovery Day at the Park from 11am to 2pm at Evergreen Park. We will have a BBQ, games, and fellowship. Invite the whole family!
